A 43-YEAR-OLD Chinese national, who was arrested on Monday at Opuwo for entering Namibia without presenting himself to immigration officials and conducting business without a work permit, has been denied bail.
Li Jianming, who allegedly entered Namibia through the Katima Mulilo border post without presenting himself to immigration officials, appeared in the Opuwo Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday and the matter was postponed to 8 September.
He is charged with allegedly violating sections 10 (3) and 30 (1) (d) of the Immigration Control Act.
